With our mineral powders, you can achieve exactly the amount of coverage you desire. Different application tools and techniques will help achieve this. When it is cold, mineral powders are harder to apply. A great tip is to tap powder into the lid and swirl in circular motions. Always use a high quality brush so loose powder doesn’t fall back out. Applying in this way will help warm the powder slightly to give a more flawless image. You can apply over moisturiser although our super grade foundation allows without.
These techniques will help you create the everyday look or when a studio or high performance look is desired just keep building on the layers. Even with full coverage you will notice no need for retouching as it is weightless and lets the skin breathe!

Dust the foundation with a powder brush and “buff”, “swirl” or “tap” all over your face! Anyway that is convenient and works best for you.
Medium coverage:
You may want to use a foundation brush and “buff”, “tap” or “swirl” and apply over the face.
Full coverage:
For heavier coverage you can use a velour puff or makeup sponge.
Why not wet your foundation and tap under your eye? In this way you can use it as a concealer too and not have to pay for another product! Root Minerals always look to add value wherever we can!
